There’s an excellent study of the average age of the Indian (and other teams) found in the post “Dad’s army”. Through this study, the author, Mohan, shows that India is actually has one of the youngest teams out of the main teams in the world cup! That’s a revelation.

Well it’s unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. You can’t defeat Australia 3-0! You can’t complete the second highest run-chase two matches in a row! You can’t make Australia appear human! But it’s happened. It’s really happened. And it’s stunning.
